Using Avenue's Twilio integration teams can send SMS messages directly from their Avenue monitors. For example a team with a monitor watching payment data could send upcoming payment reminders via SMS.
Setting up the Integration
Navigate to your Settings, scroll to Integrations, and select Twilio:
Add in the necessary information:
Name (optional) - This is the nickname you will give the integration to reference it in your monitors.
Twilio Account SID & Auth Token - These are both available in your Twilio Account Dashboard
Using the Integration
Select SMS Message as your Subscriber
Toggle
Use Custom Twilio
Then add the Phone Number you would to send from and to
Phone Number to Send From - Twilio gives you a phone number to send texts from which is also available in your Twilio Account Dashboard.
Phone Number to Notify - You can add a static number or use a template variable that references a column being returned in your Monitor query.
