Group your monitors based on similar attributes or metrics and take bulk actions on these groups with a click of a button in Edit mode on Avenue. To enter Edit mode, press on the Edit button on your Dashboard.
Monitor Groups
Create a group
Before selecting any monitors, click on the “Create new group” button in Edit mode.
Alternatively, you can also select the desired monitors you wish to group and click on the “Group” button.
Next, type in the desired title of the new group in the modal and then click on the option “Create: ...”.
Rename a group
Click on the pencil icon next to the title of the group to rename it.
Type in the new title of the group and click on update to confirm.
Delete group
Click on the X icon on the left of the title to delete the group.
Click on Remove to confirm deleting the group.
❗️ Deleting a group only ungroups the monitors belonging to the group. It does not delete these monitors.
Take Bulk Actions
Click on a monitor to select it. Select all monitors you would like to take a bulk action on. Moreover, quickly select or unselect all monitors by clicking on the options "All" or "None" in the available dropdown.
Add to group
Select the desired monitors you would like to add to an existing group, click on the “Group” button and then choose the group from the dropdown.
Ungroup
Select the desired monitors you would like to ungroup and click on the “Ungroup” button.
💡 You can ungroup monitors across multiple groups. This will remove these monitors from their respective groups.
Pause/Resume
Bulk pause selected monitors by clicking on the pause button.
If all selected monitors are paused, you can bulk resume the monitors by clicking on the resume button.
However, if you select a monitor configured via Webhook, you will neither be able to pause nor resume the selected monitors. Such monitors are always active and cannot be paused or resumed.
💡 All non-Webhook monitors can be bulk paused. To bulk resume, make sure you’ve only selected paused monitors.
I'm done editing my monitors, why are they still selected?
We know how frustrating it can be when you carefully select your monitors, accidentally click a button (for example, pause) and want to undo what you did, but all selected monitors have vanished! We won’t do that to you.
After taking an action, click on the dropdown next to the search bar and select “None” to unselect all monitors easily.
