What are Cron Expressions?

In Avenue you can create monitor run schedules based on Cron expressions. This enables you to formulate specific intervals for your monitors to run on. For instance, you can set a monitor to run only on business days, at 3PM by inputting 0 15 * * MON-FRI.

See below for all of the available interval options!

Note: Below is a breakdown of Cron Expressions and some examples, however if you need more help ask Copilot! For example, I asked Copilot to help me create the Cron Expression I showed above:

How to add Cron Expressions to your Monitors

1. Setting up the Signal

Head to the Set up the Signal section on the Monitor Creation/Update page.

Setting up the Signal

2. Changing the Alert Schedule Type

Click the dropdown and select using cron expression.

Changing the Alert Schedule Type

3. Add Cron Expression
